Hi!
My name is Glenn. I'm a 23 year old Brit and I absolutely love Canada! So much so that I hope to become a Canadian citizen someday. I am a huge fan of Canadian World Wrestling Entertainment Diva Trish Stratus (as you can see by my avatar!), and I am a Toronto Maple Leafs fan. In addition I love Royal Canadian Air Farce and so many other things to come out of/from Canada. I keep up to date with Canadian current affairs so I'm always doing my best to stay up to date despite being across the pond.
I'm so glad to have found canadaka.net. Canada sure does kick ass! I've never been before but I hope to soon. To me, Canada is perfect in many ways and I look forward to (hopefully) making some new friends: Canadian or Non Canadian, here.
Hi Glenn
The things we take for granted. You know how it is eh, because we live here sometimes we don't realize how perfect we really are
Hi Glenn, whats up? Welcome to the forum, you should be cheering for the Wild though.
Thanks for the warm greetings. I know the UK used to rule Canada, but now it's Canada that rules!
I've been to Minnesota (I have a friend who lives in White Bear Lake that I visit each year, so I'm always in MN once a year! ) and I love the place. I will admit I am a Vikings fan (in NFL) but I'm afraid I'm a proud Leafs fan. Mind you, I always follow the Wild's results. God I miss the NHL. This 'season' has been a long one without the action.
Minneapolis is a lovely city. I'd love to either live in Toronto or in the Twin Cities.
I forgot to mention that I love Clod Hoppers (they are nice! There's a shop here in the UK which sell them, so I usually get some regularly). Also I can speak English (as is obvious!). Mais si j'ai aller a Québec, je peux parler le français. Je ne suis pas tres mal, mais je prefer parler l'anglais bien sur!
Do we have a Cool European medal we could give to Glenn?????
cool!
but what is ur notionality?
I'm a Brit. No offense but I'd rather be Canadian.
Well, at least I'd still be part of the Commonwealth, so I'd still have a little bit of Britishness in me.
Welcome to the forum !!!!! It's nice to see that you love Canada. It's a great place my friend. Have fun with best crowd on this planet. LOL!!!!
Welcome to the site, Enjoy!!!!!!!
Thanks for the warm Canadian welcome. That's another great thing I love about Canada (I'm not trying to be a suck up) is the fact that Canadians are so warm and nice. I was actually taught in my last year at primary school (age 10-11) by a Canadian, and she was one of my favorite teachers of all. That is probably when my love for Canada began because she was so great. Add to that everything I adore: Trish Stratus (I haven't met her, but she is a true sweetheart having e-mailed me before - that is very true! ), ice hockey, legendary Canadian wrestlers (in particular the Hart family: Bret, Owen, Stu etc.), the beauty of Canada. Even Ed The Sock, Canadian music from the likes of Bryan Adams, Shania Twain, Avril LaVigne etc., Royal Canadian Air Farce (great show! Always catch it online
), Maple Syrup (love it!) and Clodhoppers (I tried my first bag last week!
) Canada truly kicks ass, and I hope to visit Toronto for the first time ever later this year. I truly can't wait!
Oh yeah, and I don't mind Don Cherry either! He's cool! (I hope that's the right thing to say!)
What are clodhoppers?
