Well he does say in his profile that he's from Chennai, which is in India... quite a long ride from Mumbai though.

   

Chennai...it's a beautiful place once you get past the stultifying poverty, the corpses of various species that litter the streets, the stench of feces and urine everywhere, the endemic corruption, the environmental obliteration, the unchecked development, the dangerous food and water, the ramshackle construction techniques, the oppressively gridlocked streets, and the generally rude and offensive people.

Yep, once you get past all that...well...it still sucks ass.
