Necroing is basically bringing a dead thread "back to life" by posting in it. It's considered bad form to do that as the conversion in the thread has long since ended.

Take a peek at the date of the last reply. If it's more than a couple of months old, then it's often considered dead.

so...by taking action you mean sitting on your computer and endlessly arguing with other nerds like us? and then at the end of the day the result is always absolutely nothing since everyone is so self-righteous and opinionated that no one EVER changes their mind? so all this bickering and arguing and copy+paste link posting is really just a gigantic waste of time that gives some degree of "value" to our otherwise boring, irrelevant, useless, and pitiful lives?
