I just followed the rest of the refugee's from the History Television forum implosion.
That was interesting wasn't it. The place shut down suddenly and yet many of us ended up here within days. RH was a member on HT and had pointed myself and a few of the others here years ago. Just didn't spend that much time here until the demise of HT. This site has way more cool things.............and the odd whiff of perfume around here is kinda nice.

If I remember correctly, I was looking for a place with the 'I am Canadian' beer commercials, and found all the ones I wanted here. ;D
It's been a couple years, but I'm pretty sure that's how I found my way here. I've only started posting on the forums a little while ago though.

I was googling for a specific article on Bird Flu and found it here. Then saw there was a discussion on ID Cards, so signed up to pitch in. And then jumped straight into a kick ass fight about GM foods which lasted for weeks, and was great fun. That was my first (and still only) forum experience, but I was hooked straight away, and have been ever since.

I had found this online game called 'Mafia Boss' on a website which I had clicked onto when I got bored in class. The website ( believe it or not) was ' I am Bored '. Then, after a while, the technicians upgraded the college firewall and blocked all games websites cause too many students were playing games rather than do the work they werer given.
So I tried to find a link to the website and it brought me here.
This is how I found this site and became a member.
Ever since I found this site, I haven't been on or even thought about the mafia game site cause this site is too cool man.

I'm late coming to this site. I just started posting in late April, early May, 2006.
PJB pointed me to this site(don't know whether to Thank or Slap). I am hooked. I haven't seen Canadian discussion like these since the old Sympatico Days and the early days of the CBC Forums. Hope everyone attempts to bring in new bodies who like political discourse.
