Hi Gang
I used to be a member several years ago, but I let my membership lapse. About me,
born and raised in Montreal when it was an English city. So you can imagine, all the crap I put up with over the last 50 years. Right now, I am fed up with the politics in this province, waiting for a chance to move out, Ontario, I think, but I would love PEI.
Apart from that downer, I like to travel, read (all types but love sci-fi). I speak several languages English, french Italian, Spanish and a bit of German, and Portuguese.
Love to learn new languages and meet new people. I also love dogs, cats, and marsupials especially the bandicoots (no its no misspelled).
Planning a trip to south america, next year(2016) Asia. I know I'll never get to Antarctica, so that will be as close as possible to standing on all continents.
I also made some great friends here from Alberta and BC, notably Dallion (call me).

I was born and raised in English Montreal, as well and I'm just a couple of years older than you are. I don't learn how to speak new languages very readily but I'm always learning to sing them ... High German, at the moment.
