Im Albertan......Don't Shoot
VicVega @ Fri Jan 13, 2006 11:55 pm
Hello all. I was turned onto this site by The Politician. I must say that I am very impressed by the content and free debate found in this site. It is through sites such as these that true grass roots democracy takes place.
I may be Albertan, but if you watch and read what I write, you will see that some of my views are traditionally redneck, and others are very left of centre.
I am a federalist and I make no bones about that, and I will be first in line to try to stop the speratist movement in my own province, as well as other ones in other provinces.
My Canada includes Quebec, but it also includes every other province in confederation. It seems like that is a message that tends to get lost in partisan politics, which devote themselves to appeasing a province with the second most seats in this country federaly. We are all Canadians, and we must focus on the needs of all of Canada if we are to truly be Canadian.
We must look at ourselves as a whole and recognize what every province brings to the table, not just Alberta's economic powerhouse, or Quebec's "distinct society", as I said before, we are all Canadians first. And quite frankly that's the best disinct society that a person can belong to.
Hope to see you all around in the forums. Remember a free society is only free so long as it's citizens fight to keep it that way, and making your opinion known is the best way to to that.

Yep, and here's the core of what you really mean

Well here we are....... Alberta seperation! Lets be honest, Alberta does not need the rest of Canada anymore.
As a former Albertan I say......BullSHIT!. If this is an introduction thread, your way beyond that. I know Albertans don't think like that and no offense chum but just saying that crap gives good Albertans a bad name, please don't taint it. Good to know 0.01% of the population believe what you say.

Tman......I just accused Avro of the same thing you just did. YOU DIDN'T READ PAST THE FIRST LINE!!!!!!!
If you had read the rest of the article you would see that I am strictly opposed to seperation by any province. Hell, if you had read my introduction you would have seen that.
Please read everything before you respond in the future.
PS: Speaking from personal experiance, as I used to also live in Ontario, once an Albertan, allways an Albertan. No such thing as a former Albertan, thats like saying you're formally Caucasion.

Again, I quoted you from a previous thread. Your introduction is a bit off because you already posted before this introduction.

I've been responding to to posts before you even got here and now you're telling me how to respond? No thanks. It's not up to people like you to dictate how I respond to what.

This piece of mush doesn't make any amount of sense. Try again. You make up a thread about Albertan separation and saying how Alberta doesn't need Canada and now you say you are against separation???? Riiiight. Explain that one chump.

Well here we are....... Alberta seperation! Lets be honest, Alberta does not need the rest of Canada anymore. Our economic status alone should qualify for distinct soceity, and if it doesn't, we could certainly afford to buy it. According to eastern we already we all ready have an official language: Redneckese, with such common phrases as: "Yall", "Yeonto", and my personal favorite "The bible don't say nothing about about queers, gettin hitched." As far as Canada's national splender goes, WE have the mountains, and yes we can afford to transport all 5 great lakes to the vast open spaces in our province. Besides, the rest of Canada is going to need the money to try stay ecomonically viable after we leave.
Now unlike the typical redneck, I realize that we can do this alone, so we therefore would like to send a personal and warm invitiation for BC, and Saskatechewan to join us. This would make things obviously easier for all concerned. You would get to join the winning team, and we wouldn't have to invade as soon as we were on the verge of running out of oil. (were looking at you Sask) As far as Manitoba goes.........who the hell needs Manitoba?? I personally want nothing to with a place that gets below minus 40 in the winter, and in the summer has mosquitos the size of bees. Maybe if you ask real nice you can join Ontario.
Our currency would of course feature our head of state, and cheif defender of the faith, his holiness Ralph Klien. A strong Alberta for strong Albertans!!!!!!! Where the rivers flow with liquid gold, and the only cut used on a cow is a steak. LONG LIVE THE INDEPENDANT STATE OF ALBERTA!
whole piece of shit says otherwise.
