Thought I would Introduce Myself
HappyDJ @ Sun Apr 26, 2009 10:08 pm
Hey everyone!
Well I thought I would introduce myself since Im quite new to Canada and brand new to the forum! My names Paul im origionally from UK (Newcastle-upon-Tyne) and moved to Lethbridge, AB to work because I love this country!
I work in the music industry and I love it. I arrived in Canada in October (just in time to see some seriously cold temps - and snow Ive never seen in my life! Seriously my nose froze once - that was an experience! lol)
I love it over here. I've found everyone I have met (well 99.9%) really nice genunie people. I'm currently having the best time of my life! There's a few forums about Canada which I've been looking at but this one stands out - so I hope you all don't mind me joining!
Nice to meet you all (in advance to anyone I talk to... if that makes sence... I think it does?!?)
)
Welcome aboard.
Makes perfect sense to me, but that doesn't mean much.
Welcome from BC's northern interior.

We got a couple other Limey's around here.
Eyebrock is one of em. Lethbridge puts you right in between a couple other regular members here as well. I'm a few hrs north just south of Edmonton. And I know we have a couple other members 'involved in the music business'. Welcome to CKA ![Drink up [B-o]](./images/smilies/drinkup.gif)

Im more of a dance dj being from europe and all - and the radio shows i do are about dance music and introducing it into canada as there are growing numbers of canadians who are getting or are already into it.... however....
... If you have a demo i'd be happy to give it a listen for sure. If it sounds good ill pass it onto someone who i know would be able to help you in terms of getting your demo out there and being heard.

Sweetness.

Unfortunately, no demo CD's are in existence at the moment, but we DO have a myspace page that features some of our original content that was made using broken equipment and a shoddy microphone hanging from the ceiling.
