A Good Day To Stay Home

Another good day to stay home!
-10 and no wind to speak of but lots of snow and more coming down. So much for going into town today! All area roads are in poor shape. I guess I'll go fire-up the snow blower. That should keep me occupied for a while.

Another 6 inches and still snowing heavy,now that its gone from +3 to -3 the roads a tad icy and I wouldnt be surprised if they shut the highway down tonight.Were running out of places to put the snow.

Today was clear and sunny with little wind---small minus digits.

That east wind and snow required cleanup. Tractor started with no block heater and a sniff of ether. I disconnected the blower pto----Fords tend to drag....

Snow was fluffy and light. Most of the time spent clearing three gateways----county plows----

I'm sorta weird, I put up maybe 200 metres of snow fence----on east as well as west---always seems the east winds fill things up the worst. Funny how many times folk ask why I have snow-fence on the east----but I guess they live on the left side of the street.........

I went out for a cruise today,cam on the dash,cruised down by pincher creek,got some good windmill footage,cruised up to the Pass,took the old Frank slide road and got stuck tighter then shit. Thank the lord I had my cel with me. :oops:

That's twice I got stuck in that new chevy were my old one would have walked through the snow without a problem.
