Was out today at my wife's school for its fortieth anniversary party. Late morning and early afternoon was quite sunny and warm, around 25 C(enough for me to get a sunburn). Then around 2 pm, the winds shifted to the north and the skies began to cloud over. There was a distinct cooling. I just finished checking our weather and I see the cold is moving in on us to stay. I guess it's bye bye to the shorts and hello space heaters, until mid April. Last year it managed to snow (about 30 cm) at the 1 000 m level in the mountains north of Taipei. I hope there's not a repeat of last winter. Cool weather is no fun in a concrete building without central heating.

Kinmen_Area 7-Day Forecast
Come on....what kind of Canadian are you? You can take it!!
Shep, come home to Victoria. Dec 2, it's already snowed twice, and it was -1 this morning. Forecast says there is a possibility of snow the next three days, rain for the next two weeks after that. I'm doing small party tasks wearing long underwear, my uniform, combat jacket liner, rain gear, extra socks and gloves. Sheesh, this is Victoria, I'm wearing everything I brought.
First snowfall here in Kentucky was yesterday!
It never sticks around though.
It's snowing in Kentucky, and we still haven't had a flake in the city... maybe I'm wishing too hard.
Six inches has fallen since midnight.
