What's all the whining about anyway? You pay $5.00 for a watered down beer at a hockey game and it's in a plastic cup!The beverage ain't gonna taste any different whether in plastic or glass. Plastic can be used as a very effective weapon as well. Anything can be a weapon. Hell, give me a pack of matches, a pencil and 2 min. and I'll make a weapon that will 'take out an eye' at 60 ft! (jail101). So maybe pencils should be replaced with crayons! Guess what a fertile mind can do with a crayon?
I think the city fathers,as well intentioned as they may be, are looking at the wrong end of the problem. Punishment for assault needs to be swift and severe!As it is punishment just doesn't exist!

I wish it was 5 down here. I paid $7.50 for a bud light at the Lightning vs Montreal game in Tampa last week (this was outside and all they had). Then inside they had some Molson's and they wanted $8.50 for that. Screw that! I pay $12 for a 12 pack of Molson's or Labatt. Im not paying that much for 1 beer.

   

I think plastic is great. Finally one of the clubs here moved to plactic cups so now there is a lot less glass to step on as you are dancing. Definatley a good thing when you have thin shoes.
