Wasnt sure where to put this, so I figured the open forum would be best.

I was wondering what sort of jobs are in high demand in Canada? Ontario speciffically.

Currently in my career I have had 2 main paths. One is a Medical claim examiner (the one who basically pays or denies medical claims) and the IT field (entry level. Working on A+ certification but have a few years experience in desktop and software support).

Ive mentioned before I am looking to immigrate to Canada within the next year, and I was wondering what I should focus on. And since im bringing it up, im also not sure if I should try to get a work visa first or just go straight for permanent residence. Ive got all the paperwork from the CIC site but I just want to make sure I do this right. Wasnt sure if anyone has or knows someone who has gone through this before.
