I'm looking into getting a pay as you go cell phone.
Does anyone have any recommendations on who to go with?

Don't go with Fido for starters.

Unless you want the cheapest package, Fido is for you.

Telus is better.

Not usually. I have Rogers and it's $.05 per sent message or a $5.00 flat fee per month unlimited messages.......or some huge amount that of messages sent that I'll never hit.

I'm not a real huge fan on cell phones, but the wife uses Telus and the service is great!

I was looking into this a month ago and a lot of people said the virgin mobile was the best value minute to minute :?

Hope you got lot's of money then.

A telus plan for $100.00/month will give you 800 minutes of talk anywhere time, every call is billed as long distance,Still way cheaper then pay as you go.

VOIP is the way to go if you can get coverage for your cel phone. Cheap cheap.
