This is amazing to watch, but if the guy lived near me, I'd shoot him.

How can I do that?

Third thread about this Jaime. Didn't you know that's Hester's house?

Jaime_Souviens @ Mon Dec 05, 2005 8:27 pm

Where? I haven't seen it?

Some of us are apparently so special that we've memorized all the thread titles.....

Oh, well.

Weird.... my dad sent me a video of the lights he had apparently put up last weekend, and the similarities are astounding... even has the same taste in music. :?

So much for my little Christmas gift to this little online community.

I should stick to what I'm good at, making fun of Socialists, the Assyrian Empire, and cats.

Maybe he followed the instructions I posted.

At least you gave us instructions. 8)

Fair enough, O, wise semi-mod.

Blue_Nose @ Mon Dec 05, 2005 8:48 pm

I admit, I was under the impression that it was just stop animation the first time I saw it... but there are some other videos on that site you posted that show cars driving by... one happens to drive by just as a particularly exciting part in the music occurs; he must have been temporarily blinded.

Jaime_Souviens @ Mon Dec 05, 2005 8:54 pm

I didn't think it was animation because I assume people are just that crazy.

Blue_Nose @ Mon Dec 05, 2005 9:18 pm

...and to think how many hours I spend just trying to find the one burnt out bulb in the string...

Please notify Hester that I'm taking his house...

Programmable Christmas Lights link; I think my neighbour must be working on this too, he turned his on once for a few minutes and it was astounding! Hasn't turned them on again yet, so we will see. Fortunately his display faces the steet and I'm next door so I won't get the full effect. While it's neat to watch for a while, I think I'd grow to hate it pretty quickly if my place faced his. Thanks for posting the link but I don't think I'm going to do this.
