Do you go out and eat at a restaurant/fast food/bar more often or do you eat at home more often?

We almost never go out. I really enjoy cooking, and I’m pretty good at it too

We eat out about once a week - with all the variety in restaurants around, we try to go somewhere new every time.

We eat out daily like most people over here. It is actually cheaper, both pocket book and time wise for us. There are a plethora of restaurants within minutes of us at work and at home. Most of them are buffet style, so you choose . By the time my wife and I finish work, pick up our kids, weave through traffic and make it home, it's usually 6:30. On the weekend we eat at home

Same. My girlfriend and I try to eat somewhere every Friday to "wind down" after a busy week. We do this for fun, other than that there's no reason for us not to be eating at home (though she gets catered lunches at work, I get to brown bag it).

USABabe is an excellent cook. We pretty much only go out for food on special occasions.

With my awfully busy schedule (where my only time off some days is taking a shower!), supper has to be prepared AND cooked within 30 minutes. Glad I bought those 30-minute meals books ;)

We eat out once a week though - we go for phô soup. We go for more expansive meals on special occasions, and average priced meals about twice a month. I think we're average when it comes to eating out...

FB went out to his favourite All You Can Eat buffet - 4th time in as many days. As he was walking up for his 3rd helping, the proprietor said, "I'm sorry sir, but this will be your last plate.

"But the sign says "all you can eat for $5!"

"Indeed it does sir. And this is all you can eat."
I am not bragging, I am actually a bit ashamed to say this.....but when i go for buffet it is usally 5 to 6 plates

Business lunches don't count right?

Mostly i will go out on the weekends and i do have my favourite spots that i frequent more than others like Rocco's Plum Tomato :) (the shrimp and scallop penne is amazing).

I'm probably going to be eating out a lot less now that GF is moving away.

:P  ;)

Nah, but in all seriousness, I will be eating out less because it looks like a possible new roommate will be our personal cook in exchange for letting him use our kitchen.

He's coming to Ottawa to expand his culinary skills and gain more experience and ideas, and I never mind being the guinea pig when it comes to food.
