Someone rightly said; this old man belongs to era when whole world used to like and admire US of A. Still, wonderful people live in US.

While, People still admire Canadians though

   

You need to know that this is a reality TV show... so don't believe anything you see.

   

I'm not that sentimental. He did remind me of my dad though, who would have been 95 in June.

Do you guys really think this can be fake? may be, it is most of the times but in this particular case of old man, I don't think so.

   

I don't know that it's 'fake'. But it does look a bit rehearsed.

I don't know any judges that would let someone off a speeding ticket in a school zone, for some random reason.

   

The cases themselves might be real, but the rest isn't.

Rule #1 - Real life is mostly boring and isn't very entertaining
Rule #2 - The best ad-libbing is scripted


EDIT: My rule of thumb is that every reality TV show is fake... no exceptions.

   

I sat a lot in courtrooms, waiting for my case to be called... divorce procedures, criminal courts, small claim courts... probably saw 1 case that was mildly entertaining.

   

I'm going in early September to fight a parking ticket.

I look forward to it.
