I'm going to be ruined! She eats more than my brothers two male cats combined! I hope it's just becaus she was in such a bad state when she got here and that she'll calm down after a few days.

My hubby and I have allergies and are likely both allergic to our kitty, Floyd, but he's worth it. He just turned 14 in our years today (72 in kitty years!) and we've had him since he was about 8 weeks old. He captured us right away with his charm!
Tegan is a lucky kitty in getting another chance. All the best!

That's one old kitty. Must have a lot of memories of him by now. That made me realize that Tegan might be around for just as long... A strange thought realy.. I'dd be.. let's see.. 35 years old by then. Oh! and thanks. I'm sure everything will work out fine.

I just found out my puppy could live almost as long - and my bird even longer.

All credit goes to Novachick for suggesting it. I'd probably just named her Ernesto Che Hugo Evo Guevara Chavez Moralez, or something equaly stupid.
I thought it was only a certain species of cat that could live that long? An old friend of mine had a cat that reached the age of 21 and had become blind on one eye. Some asian species if I remember correctly.
