I count my mother as one of my blessings..
She stuck soap in our mouths once...Felt it was cruel punishment and never did it again.
Ahh, Left-Wing Mothers Rock...
I only did it to my kids once too. Not that I thought it was cruel, I just couldn't justify wasting a perfectly good bar of soap.
The second time I gave them the Tabasco sauce treatment.
Never had to issue punishment a third time.
