this irks me a lot.
i understand that the internet has opened up doors for people to do things they wouldn't be able to achieve, but cut throat industry's like modeling are there for a reason.
now we can rate who is hot or not with the click of a button, and scorn those for even trying to model. everyone wants to be famous. that's the problem.
i was reading this article, and it really just irked me that people would fight for attention so hard. why does everyone want to be famous?
has the internet made us more vain than ever before??

I don't think everyone wants to be famous, but I think you're seeing the ones that do.

I don't think the internet makes us more vain, but you could use it to express yourself in a different way than the generation of our parents could.
I don't think everybody wants to be famous either. But everybody wants to be wanted and needed...

it makes me wonder how talentless people today would've become famous before the internet.
They still would have there was plenty of talentless people that have become famous...its about marketing, production and management. The cool thing I like about the net is it opens it up to alot of music that is brilliant that will never get a record deal on a big label but you can still buy the indi stuff from the bands direct.
