There’s quite a lot of snow out there where I live. Over 15cm fell overnight and very few roads are plowed. I don’t think everyone will be making it in to work today.

But since Environment Canada tweaked it's algorithms, started using average data from 1970 - 2000, and got a new supercomputer, the 5 day forecast is actually pretty accurate.
Outside of shoulder seasons, however.

Extreme cold warning lifted, it isn't supposed to get into the --40s with windchill. It's still -27 though. Monday is looking to be -3, not +7. But it will still feel too hot.

I just spent part of the the morning listening to the teacher trying to explain some new things for online learning. Then kids desperately trying to explain technical difficulties they had over the last two days!! It was painful to listen to!

The snow is already waist high on my lawn...and it's snowing again, no thanks!

Massive dump here. Buried the dish on my roof, so I was up there digging that out first thing. Got probably 30 cm. Seems to have stopped for now.
