Since i don't have a choice to vote in this poll .... i must be too young!

I'll be having my 43rd B-Day in Edmonton this summer.

   

Fuck, I just got back from Henry Rollins. I started to feel old when the kids in front of me at the beer stand all got id'd. I felt even older when I realised that between me and Mrs. Rev we had about a quarter of the piercings of the young lady seated in front of us. I felt really old when Henry Rollins, that wild and angry young man, mentioned that he was 43. "43? Fuck, I've been listening to him since...holy shit...the first time I heard him sing I was sitting in pick-up truck in my high school parking lot having a beer and smoking a joint. He was pissed off at Reagan and I was getting revved up to write a Shakespeare test or some such shit."

When I was watching Rollins though, I thought, "Hey, nonrev would love this."

Go see him if you get a chance, nonrev. You'll feel even older than you are, and I know you haven't ever bought a Black Flag album. You'll like it though...just a guy with a mic and an odd way of looking at things talking for three hours.

But not surprising, seeing as when he turned 20, I was wondering about how to best go about shocking the pool and dealing with the dickheads that ran my kids' schools, banks that wanted to boost my mortgage from 10% to 17%, dinosaur bosses that were afraid to even TOUCH the earliest computer systems that I was then working with, but would nevertheless try to tell you how to do your fuckin' job, etc, etc, etc. *sigh*

Some days I feel I'm older than dirt......

   

but you'll still like this guy. Trust me.

   

Get in touch with me when you get to Edmonton.. it would be nice to at least meet and have a coffeee some where.. ill buy you a timmy ho's coffee... how does that sound???

   

I think hes either Coming to edmonton.. or has just been here, either way in gonna do a bit of research on him as I have heard a lot about him, and ut was mostly good too...

It occurs to me that I have a dog almost as old as Scarecrow and Corporal Cam. She's a good dog too, if a little senile.

I'm 17, not a bad age to be moving to Canada.

Btw, isnt the drinking age there 21?
