Okay, so...
This upcoming October on the 14th, I will be walking in the Ottawa Region's 6th Annual Royal Canadian Air Cadets Walkathon. I do this every year and raise money for my squadron. last year I raised over $800 dollars.
This walkathon will be my last Walkathon in cadets since I age out shortly after. All the money that we raise goes directly back into our squadron for things like flying, range team, bush weekends, year end trips, etc. With the money we raised and from sponsors, we got enough money last year for a year-end trip to LaRonde in Montreal, which was my squadron's first ever year-end trip. It was a blast and everyone enjoyed themselves.
This is gonna sound kinda wierd, but I was wondering if any of the people I know here at CKA would be willing to support me in my final walkathon for cadets? Any donations over $15 can get you a tex receipt. If you would like a tax receipt, I would need your full address including postal code so that the squadron could send you the tax receipt. Please do so via PM or e-mailing me for privacy reasons if you're at all interested.
