you never heard the line used by NCOs, "Don't call me sir, my parents were married!"?

Hey...I am a lower decker after all... if ya can't pick on officers than who can pick on?

I think I'm going to manage to avoid some of the fine traditions of getting promoted (one of which is getting smashed) and that's fine with me as my kidneys are too old for that crap anymore!

Large black coffee, two sugar then? 8)

He pays you to surf Canadaka.ca so why wouldn't he pay you to drink beer at the Jr. ranks club?

ROTFL

Yep, hard working tax payer.

You're just jealous that you can't screw around on your job like I can and then get paid nicely for it, too.

Avro, get your MCSE, your CCIE, your SCNA, your SSCP, and your CISSP and you can have the same fun I do.

"Bart" will suffice. The 'Captain' thing is still odd to me...actually, it's odd to wear a uniform again - I'm so used to polo shirts and slacks that it's strange to have to wear a tie and a hat again. It also freaks me out to see eltees (heck, anyone) saluting me.

I really expected to be out in the weeds somewhere scopin some POS instead of schooling newbies on the ins and outs of reaching out and touching someone.
