well The daughter in law is about to have her baby probably in the next 24 hrs and ill be a grandfather.. And best of all "HE'S going to be a boy grandchild... we thought she was going to have him this after noon but it was a false alarm.. Its my first (as far as I know of) and I am just thrilled at the idea of being a grand dad.. It does mean that im getting old, but what the hey we all get old.. The wife has been knitting blankets and other baby stuff over the last few months.. and its been a roller coaster ride of emotions to say the least.... this is something that a few years ago I nevr wouldhave thought would happen, but life has a strtange way of fooling you.. Ive already gotten him a baseball glove and some other "guy things" Katherine and I are both thrilled, and as soon as things happen along ill post some pic here for all to oooh and ahh over... Any ways ill keep the members here posted with any news as it happens........

Anyways, that's great RH! Congratulations on soon being a grand-dad. At least you don't act your age....

   

Through all this I have only one regret, I lost my dad last July, and I was so hoping to have him around to see his Great grand child... But im sure where ever he is he knows already...On the up side I have a son , Geoff who is all any one could ask for in a son.. He's a great young man.. honest loyal hard working..And although he isnt my son by birth I couldnt love or respect him any more had he been.. Im proud to say hes my son..,
