I was watching a Jay's game awhile ago and the announcers (One Canadian and One American) brought up that Corey Koskie (Manitoba bread) is glad to be back in Canada for 2 reasons. Ketchup flavoured chips and gummi bears.

The american brodcaster said he didn't even hear of Ketchup chips before. So im wondering, whats up with that??? lol

By the way, I miss Mexican Chilli chips. Wish Old Dutch would bring em' back.

True, I have been in the United States, and I have never found Ketchup flavored chips. No dill either. Guess the Canadians have more to offer the chips dept.

No Dill Pickel? Man that's one of my favorites.

My American boyfriend says they do. Both Ketchup Chips, Dill Chips, and Gummie bears too.

I think gummi bears, yeah... but Ketchup chips, if existant, are pretty unpopular XD

No ketchup chips in any state I have been to or have friends in. That's not to say they don't exist, but I doubt they'd be the same. Salt and Vinegar is another one I cannot find here in WA.

Hey flyman, can you get dill pickle dip there? none here in WA, not sure if it is a regional thing. I would kill for a good dill pickle dip and some ripple chips right now...mmmmmmmm.

Personally, I find dill pickle and ketchup chips fairly disgusting. All Dressed chips are where it's at. PDT_Armataz_01_34

All dressed. That is what people here reply when I say I am looking for ketchup chips..."you mean all-dressed?" It's not that they're bad, but its kinda like craving a rootbeer and taking a pull on a coke. Not the same thing.

Ketchup is pretty good, just like Dill. But has anyone ever tried Bacon flavored chips??? You don't see those everywhere...

Sharkull @ Sun May 01, 2005 9:30 pm

(I can't believe I'm actually posting in a thread about potato chip flavours...)

My favorite was an old brand of chips called "O'Grady's" or "O'Ryan's" (or something like that...). Flavours: sour cream and onion and especially... sour cream and bacon. *drool*

Haven't seen them in over 10 years... they were the best. The flavour coated each chip... *double drool*

lol, I know what you mean. The green bag with the Leprechauns on it. O'Ryans chips were awesome. The closet thing to those now are Old Dutch Rippled Sour Cream N Onion chips.

And I agree, it is funny how a thread about Potatoe Chips is growing.

Im not big on Lime flavoured foods. Slurpees, popsicles and drinks with lime sure, but when it comes to chips I just don't see that tasting that great. Same goes for A cola drink mixing in lime, seems like it wouldn't taste very good. Then again, I have to try them first.
