i had blueberry pancakes for dinner (with a side of bacon.... shhhhh don't tell anyone)
They were sooo yummy
i had my chocolate chip pancakes with custard powder in the batter... man mom is a good cook...

there is stuff cooked into the pancakes? Wow...that is so weird. What happens if someone chokes on it?
I want freaking pancakes with stuff cooked into it!!! DAMMIT!!! I guess I cant get specialty ones without flour though

Ahhhh....that doesnt work for me though...I had to go to emerg once when I got a salmon bone stuck in my tonsil...

then i think that sad as well..
apparently the actualy pancake day is an east coast thing. is also know as shrove tuesday, fat tuesday or mardis gras (fat tuesday is french)
from what i know ash wednesday is primiarly a religious thing so if you are not religious then you probably wouldn't know it

It's like looking at a different religion from the one I was actually raised with.
They don't teach The Ash Wednesday and Lent thing in the United Church... or atleast not the one I used to go to...

It is more commonly known as Shrove Tuesday.
