Oh, like I've never heard that one.
Many, Tritium must really love me. Apparently, he can't stop thinking about me.

Yeah, I thought it was funny when PM'ed to me.
btw, shouldn't you be working or something?? Oh yeah, the show doesn't start until later.
 Yeah. They're called "days off". I work really hard so I can have them.
How 'bout you?

Depends I guess if he is driving a tandem axle dump or something similar and the ground is to wet in construction zones, I would guess.
That would be reason to be called off work.
However, I think he is entirely full of shit and is probably an unemployed welfare bum. I think I saw him sleeping in the park next the Bow river on my way to work this morning.
I had two of them last week.
And by two "rain days", I mean two days in which I was only able to work eight hours, because the rest of the work that was available simply wasn't accessible due to soft lease roads.
...But, that's how it goes.

...But, that's how it goes. Not much is allowed on the fields when its wet,no admixing allowed. Even some of the rigs are laid down now....waiting.
Yeah, it sucks when that's happening. It looked pretty good here yesterday, and again today, so I'm hoping there'll be more work on friday when I go back.
I'm in the Lloydminster area right now. Where are you at?

I was east of Nanton building leases for awhile but am now around Del Bonita close to the merican border. Looking after two rigs down there but right now there laid down untill it gets dry enough to move to the next location.I still get hours to drive and check the road out, have a few beers with the driller.

Not much moving from the border up to Calgary, lots of rain.Gonna be a few days yet.
Hey, what kind of rig do you push?
...Or do you consult?

I wish, those consultants make good coin. I build the roads and the leases, tow the rigs in and out, clean the mud off the county roads after a move and put the leases back after the rigs gone. Lots of travelling, rarely see the boss, just the way I like it. We do facility work also.
Oh, I get it. You're an equipment operator.
That's cool. In my opinion (and I doubt I'm alone on this) you guys are the backbone of the oilpatch.

its a team effort.Labour wise I probably got the easiest job,at least Im not walking around with 20 pounds of wet clay on each boot.
I hate that shit.
You know what I hate? Wading through drill mud to squeegee out a tank.
That fucking sucks.
