Predictions?

Anybody?

I don't have any myself...other than the Vancouver Canucks winning the Stanley Cup, but I predict that every year, so I'm a shit prophet.

But here's somebody who claims to have better success, so let her start you off.

Everything gets increasingly worse because the overall disintegration is past the point of no return.

Sometimes it's better to accept the fact that we failed, throw everything away and start all over again.

I will go out on a limb for 2018
1. There will be no snow storms in southern Alberta between April 24 and October 15
2. There will be increased federal debt in 2018
3. The NDP in ALberta will spend money faster than the economy recovers
4. Gas prices at the pumps will have several increases and decreases, but the average price in 2018 will be higher than 2017
5. The TSX and the DOW will hit new record highs
6. The climate change debate will have a bunch of people predicting a catastrophic tipping point getting closer. Another group will be pointing at historical variability as the explanation.
7. The Calgary Flames will be on the golf course after the first round of the playoffs

Hillary Clinton doesn't go away and continues to drag the Democratic party further down the political China Syndrome.

Given that my 2107 predictions were so far off I'll make one more attempt before I hang up my Carnac the Magnificent cap. So here we go;

Trump will tweet something stupid;
Clinton still won't accept her defeat and stop whining;
The Democrats will continue to look under every rock for that elusive smoking gun in the Russian probe while trying to implicate Trump but, continue to fail;
Trudeau will do something even dumber than normal;
There will be at least two more Liberal Party Cabinet Ministers scandals;
Trudeau will be involved in another scandal;
The Right Honourable Harjit Singh Sajjan will return from North Africa after sowing Carthage with salt;
Mario Dion will stop all investigations into the Liberal Party's past and present transgressions;
BC will reject proportional representation leading to a fist fight between Andrew Weaver and John Horgan in the Legislature and triggering another election;
The BC Liberal Party will elect Todd Stone as their leader;
The cost of living will increase by at least 4%;
The average wage won't rise;

And for the Grand Finale;

North Korea will finally attack Guam with a missile but miss and hit downtown Beijing leading to a cooling of relations between the two former friends.

2018:
The Toronto Maple Leafs Win the Stanley Cup.

las vegas golden knights will win the stanley cup!!!!

July 1st will be the stonedest Canada Day on record.

My predictions:

1. The Republicans maintain their grip on the House of Representatives but lose the Senate in November.

2. More seats at the state level flip from Democrat to Republican despite the Democrats modest victory in the US Senate.

3. Right to work becomes the law of the land in the USA and union memberships fall off precipitously.

4. Theresa May is ousted as Prime Minister in the UK.

5. Angela Merkel gets ousted during a scandal in Germany.

6. Catalonia's independence is reaffirmed with yet another vote and this time the reaction from Madrid gets violent.

7. North Korea attacks the Olympic Games next month.

8. Norway or Sweden starts deporting their Muslim refugees. Much of Europe follows suit.

9. At least one more country votes to leave the EU.

10. Trump builds the wall.

11. The Muslims kill another 30,000 to 100,000 people. Liberals won't care. As usual.

12. The summer of 2018 will be markedly cooler than the summer of 2017.

13. Thanos will continue to hope for global annihilation and destruction.
