I'm disappointed I didn't get fielder's choice. But... passed ball? Only if it's a called third strike. Third strike? Only if it get's away from the catcher. These two are the same thing.

You can also reach first on an error.

Well you figured it out, but not completely.
The North American Plate is moving west, so anything facing east would move backwards... The obvious one is the Statue of Liberty, which faces towards Europe.
