It's gonna be a bloody cold winter in Britain - some say the coldest since 1987, others say the coldest since 1962 - that was so cold, that much of the North Sea, on Britain's east side, froze over.

Here are some photos of the winter so far -

Britain's glorious Indian summer has shivered to a halt, with frost and ice transforming our cities and countryside. Here, a cyclist rides through Richmond Park as temperatures dipped below freezing.

This answers your question from the other post.

The weather is turning upside down. In winter, Canada is gonna be sub-tropical and Southern Europe and North Africa will be plunged in winter darkness with 6 inches of snow and severe blizzards.

But we've had a warm winter, too. An "Indian Summer" as we call it. Most of October was sunny and warm. People even went to the beach.

Now, though, it's starting to get cold. But I like the cold weather. I can see the Pennines, a range of hills, from my house, and in winter, with the snow, instead of being green they are pure white.
