Hey! How's everyone! I haven't been around lately, but I'm back now!! Who knows how long I'll stick around this time? -_-

I am getting tired of the BS in the forums. I am no "Pollyanna" here, I understand the opinions put forward are sometimes heated. I have friends of all political stripes and we seem to be able to chat about the issues of the day without getting nasty about things. As a canadian I like to think we can debate and still respect each others point of view. In your anonimity I understand you can be as rude & intolerant as you feel you want.

I will be giving way to the rude & flaming gang in the more politicaly, & religiously charged threads. At least for a while I will stick to the lighter hearted forum topics. So "Flame Gang" go ahead and light up on each other for a bit. Perhapes it is fun for you but it is disrespectable and no fun for me.

On this site as in life I have "met" (as in spoken to) some truely fasinating and inteligent people, And some truly miserable examples of humanity. I hope to continue to chat with former and someday maybe meet them. As for the latter....well as I said I respect that they are free to have their opinions (hey this is canada a free society) but I do not have to or need to have anything to do with them. I am just as free to avoid the intolerant rude jerks here as in the face to face, day to day world.

Unfortunately I have to agree with you. I have only gotten involved in a few serious/political threads and people always go off the deep end. People do not seem to be able to have an intelligent discussion without bringing in personal insults. I dont understand why a discussion cannot be had without people's ego's being involved and a winner being found. There is no winner in a discussion, it is a calm excahnge of opinions and information not a boxing match.

Its a problem on almost all forums I have seen. People need to not be offended so easily and realize thigns are no personal, it is just an intelligent discussion. It really does take away from the quality of the forums that we cannot have discussions as they should be. I simply wont participate in them now, its forum games and funny posts for me for the msot part now.

wow that is pretty sad. I know of another thread, but I am not going to put the link in here because I dont recall what I said in it, but I am sad to say I think I was part of the mud slinging idiocy.
