Palau or Naruau. We could afford to buy either country with those winnings.
In the US, they don't give it all to you - you either get a lump sum payment for half of the total or they give you annual payments for 20/25 years. And don't forget the IRS gets their share too.
Still, even half is a nice chunk of change.
"Chump change" from $270 million is still more cash than anyone can physically carry!
No doubt, I'm just saying buying an entire island might be out of the question.
DrC may have to settle for several oceanside resorts instead of the entire island...
