It was very nice! Very big in the mouth, like brown sugar or espresso, and very earthy. Lots of little bubbles in the middle, then a very big oak and almond finish.
I couldn't drink more than one, and it was pretty expensive. But a nice treat!

"Poor Man's Black Velvet" is a gift from Dionysus himself!
I've tried making "Black Velvet" using good Champagne, and even Prosecco, but it just isn't as good as a good dry apple cider.

Wish I could get the thick, almost chunky apple cider that you can in Britain. But it will do.
Weston's Old Rosie Cloudy Scrumpy is good.
