Glenfiddich......................[drool]

Next time you are in a specialty shop, pick up a Fullers beer. I've never had a bad one.

They use their barley twice, and then use the dark first brew for a Barley Wine, and the Second brew for their lighter beers like 'London Pride', and mix the two in different ratios to get London Porter, HSB and ESB. Then they add hops. Very consistent no matter which one you drink. Not cheap, but worth it!

Goes really well with whisky too. ;) (even if it is from Chiswick)

For 'local' craft, Yukon Breweries. Yukon Gold. [drool]

I used to have to go to Whitehorse to get it, but a couple local stores carry it now.

I'll have to remember that. I don't drink beer much anymore, so when I do stop to get some, I'm all like, what the fuck do I get? Then walk out with Coors Light tall boys...... 8O
At restaurants I've had Rickards Blonde and liked it. I think that's what it was? It had an orange wedge in it.

CITRUS! 8O Blasphemer! Why not just put a watermelon in it? :P  Citrus is for Mexican beer. ;)

From the Yukon Beer link:

$1:
Yukon Gold goes back to 1997, being one of the first beers released by the brewery. It has become a staple – in fact, it is the number one selling draught beer in the Yukon…period. Number Two is by a little brewery called Molson with a brand you might know – Canadian. And, in case you thought that was a horse race, last year Yukon Gold outsold that other beer by over 2.5 to 1… Of course, that is just in draught beer, but we are still pretty proud of how much support we get from people in the Yukon. And, if that comes off as bragging, we have to quote Joe Friday (for those of you old enough to remember him) – “Just the facts, ma’am”.

The company I was working for had a branch in Whitehorse and was just across the street from the brewery, so I used to get it there often. It really is that good! Nothing like loading up a charter plane with 10 flats of beer. ;)

I heart 40 Creek Whiskey! Damn good stuff and I wasn't much of a Whiskey fan before.

Not necessarily. I do like a wedge of lemon in a pint of Grasshopper.

Citrus is for Mexican beer. ;)

That wedge of citrus was put there in the top of that Mexican beer so you could run it around the rim to kill the dysentery bugs that might live on the glass. It's the touristas that started stuffing the lime wedge into their Coronas. It's a bit like drinking down the finger bowl at Swiss Chalet and saying: "MMMMM! Nice lemon soup!"
