I've been listening to the "jimi hendrix live at the fillmore east album" quite a bit lately. The version of machine gun is pretty awesome, and so is the starting track "crosstown traffic" which has like a 7-8 mins long solo(could be longer). I dunno if machine gun is a good as the band of gypsies one though, although I like all of Hendrix versions.

Oh, and on another note, not to get off of what I've been listening to, but I would have to say that Combat Rock is an okay album by The Clash, but I think Sandidista(can't spell)and london calling are their best albums.

Oh, I love the blues. Stevie ray vaughan and Jimi Hendrix are great. In Austin Texas they loved Stevie ray Vaughan so much they even put a statue of him up -- we have a local station called the Austin Music Network in which they play his shows all the time. I'll have to check that guy out that you are talking about.

Cherish by Madonna....I like two lines on this song and that's it :P

"You've given it (dum dum), you've given it to- me boy, you've given me all- all- all your joy"

Kinda sounds like a dj scratching...I don't why but that part just makes me wanna stop and do a jig everytime :P

..I think I'm gonna play it again. I can almost see my co-workers rolling their eyes. Hehehe

I'm listening to "Super Tramp" Bloody well right eh? I like all the originals from the 60's, 70's and 80's. It seems like all the newer guys just take something from that era and add a few changes.

this might not be the right forum bt Ive been trying to put a pic under my name. Cant seem to do it. Anyone feel like giving a heping hand? :D
