I've been listening to the "jimi hendrix live at the fillmore east album" quite a bit lately. The version of machine gun is pretty awesome, and so is the starting track "crosstown traffic" which has like a 7-8 mins long solo(could be longer). I dunno if machine gun is a good as the band of gypsies one though, although I like all of Hendrix versions.
Oh, and on another note, not to get off of what I've been listening to, but I would have to say that Combat Rock is an okay album by The Clash, but I think Sandidista(can't spell)and london calling are their best albums.
"The White Stripes Live @ Blackpool"
DVD of course.
Logged on to launchcast right now and Vanessa Carlton-Ordinary Day's playing...
Well Johnny if your a bluies fan let me know........I will transfer Hey Joe live ( Roy Buchanon) and give me your opinion.......Rolling stone calls him the worlds greatest unknown guitarist........he's amazing if you like Jimi you love Roy.
Oh, I love the blues. Stevie ray vaughan and Jimi Hendrix are great. In Austin Texas they loved Stevie ray Vaughan so much they even put a statue of him up -- we have a local station called the Austin Music Network in which they play his shows all the time. I'll have to check that guy out that you are talking about.

I'm listening to "Super Tramp" Bloody well right eh? I like all the originals from the 60's, 70's and 80's. It seems like all the newer guys just take something from that era and add a few changes.
