Been about thirty years overdue for them to put out a remastered and cleaned up version of this old Canadian classic.

   

   

I just read that Melissa Etheridge had lost her son to opioid addiction. I was sad to read that news. I had forgotten how much I had enjoyed her music back in the day. Her smokey voice, haunting lyrics, and raw power that she put into her music put her in a class of her own. Who can listen to songs like "I'm the only one" and not get chills running down their spine? Condolences for your loss Melissa.

   

   

   

Acoustic laid back version of a fantastic tune from an underrated band...

I am just now finding out about this band. They were one of the first all female bands. These females can actually play instruments, they didn't just fit the suit. The guitar player has a great sound. I guess they had several albums back in the 70's. I honestly can't believe that they were not a lot bigger than they were.

   

   

I just read your post. That is sad news. I always liked her music and her amazing voice as well and seeing the vid you posted prompted me to look up this one as I hadn't watched it for awhile now. Melissa and one of my absolute faves Bruce Springsteen doing Thunder Road as a duet.

   

Binge listening to these guy's...
