Howard Stern reminded us the other day that Tara Banks is afraid of Dolphins....well, then I am afraid to do laundry because I can forget to remove my cell phone from my pants. Whats your fear?

I am afraid of most bugs, throwing up, being so broed that I want to kill myself, and not having good sex :P

Bees or falling.

I seriously get deathly afraid when flying, or anything related to heights. Cant stand roller coasters for the same reason. Its not the going fast that scares me, its just the fear of uncotrolled movement. I can race a car at 100 miles an hour, but throw me on a coaster or even sliding down a snowy hill scares me, The bee thing is just a fear of being stung. Not alergic, but I got stung a lot when I was a kid.

My biggest fears are to get a phone call or a knock at the door letting me know that something 'horrible' has happened to my kids, or that there was an accident at the mill where my huband works  . A close second would be, not being in control of my own air, like deep sea diving or going into outer space, that kinda stuff.I don't plan to do any those things so I should be okay.

Spiders and Heights. I had an airsoft gun pointed at my eye, and I was more afraid of a tiny ass spider on the other side of the room then that 8O

So many people are scared of spiders, I'm not 'bugging' any one, I just want to know what the fear is. Is it being bit, or just the fact they have 8 legs, I'm just curious.

Let me break it down for you. They are 8 eyed, 8 legged, hairy freaks that are poisonous.

But they're not all poisonous.I've held a great number of spiders in my hands and have never been bitten.Same goes for snakes, never been bitten yet.

All spiders have a small amount of poison in them. Only a couple are harmful to humans.

Scoring under 100 strokes at golf and having to buy a round at the eleventh hole. 8O

I used to be wary of spiders, then I helped my father-in-law to breed them (for show rose growers), lost all fear after that. There's a giant spider (female) in my workshop, in about 2 months there will be gazillions of little spiders, has happened for the past 4 years.

I have a fear of heights, but fly airplanes (gliding), now thats weird.

Oh well, it would take a lot to turn me off spiders, I'm no expert on the little guys, but I do like them. I'll have to show off my tattoo some day.

Since my wifes mother died at age fifty and her sister died at age 48 on NOV 24 2003 and her brother died at age 42 NOV 24 2005 and my deceased fathers birthday is NOV.24 and considering my wife is 41 ..... I'm uncomfortable about the whole scenario including Nov.24th

IkeaMan @ Tue Mar 14, 2006 9:17 pm

Are you saying you've accumulated 100 strokes by the end of the 10th hole? If that is the case, someone should be getting you drunk before the eleventh hole.

My big fear is bottomlessness. I love swimming and learned to open my eyes underwater at the age of six. When it is accessible, I'll always head to the bottom to scope out the flora and fauna. Still when I'm swimming in very deep water, I can't stand to look beneath the surface.

I still have a lingering aquaphobia from from my early years, but it rarely manifests itself.
