Federal Leadership Race
hwacker hwacker:
The Liberals have nothing to offer, they are void of anybody with substance and full of crazies.
Whoever wins will never be PM, it will take another 5-8 years for the Liberals to rebuild to the point where they are creditable with Canadians.
Sucks for you guys but that’s the truth.
your smart ass remarks are not needed here, in case you didn't read the rules, this is a Liberal discussion forum. this type of insulting back and forth will stay out of the party forums.
same goes for others, this is new so will leave some slack, but this is stated at the top of the party forum pages.

HMMMM ok I think I get it and screw him haveing people work with out paying is ... Slavery.

Ok... If the above is viewed as smart ass or overly offensive to the liberals of this thread sorry. I was not trying to be a smart ass but just conveing what I thought/felt on reading what was posted to inform me about Bob Rea.
Once again thanks for the info on my question.

I have faith in lefties everywhere that they will not support Bob Rae, as least not as a majority. People know what he did, and how he fucked up big time...
What did this Bob Rae person do????
Rem. I'm just a yank.

Okay, Imagine Ontario as a room, with a spectacular view of a forest, lake, and Mertropolitan areas.
Bob Rae set it all on fire and then pissed on it.

It's his opinion. Just because you do not agree, doesn't make them "smart ass".
If that comment was posted by a Liberal supporter in the CPC section, you wouldn't touch it. You know it and I know it.

He just explicitly said "this is new". So no, I dont think you are correct on that little assumption. With new forum topics comes new rules, they apply to all, dont get bent out of shape just becuase the first perpetrator was a Con man.

So as a Conservative, I'm not allowed to post here?
Nope looks like it, Just high 5's for everybody.
He never said you are NOT ALLOWED to post. He simply said he doesnt want to have flame wars in this sextion of the forum. I can only assume the same would go for the con section.
Why is this so hard to comprehend for the con men?

I started the thread and I'm a bit disappointed that I can't read objective comment on the Liberal party from a conservative standpoint; unfortunately the first "bunch of crazies" comment made it clear an objective discussion would not take place if conservatives were to participate in this sub-forum.
This sub-forum and their equivalents for the other parties can clearly only function as a "party members conference." Members of other parties really should not participate as being counter productive and only disruptive.
It is the grass-roots Liberals would wish to discuss issues in this sub-forum and hear differing opinions rooted in
common values. It is this kind of process the Liberals must embark upon, just as Stephen Harper did to rebuild the Conservative Party support.
While I consider it worth-while to hear and remain open to viewpoints from a different position on the political spectrum, we get to hear those views and criticisms in the general political foums.
It may be that some Liberals may hold common views with conservatives on certain issues. Those views can and will be debated and perhaps influence the party, but in a more productive way with a like-minded Liberal championning them in party policy discussions.
Ya but its not that cons are not allowed. Its that there is no place in this section for those of opposing views to start flame wars. Obviously CONSTRUCTIVE critisism is always welcome. It would be stupid to not allow everyones voice if they have something meaningful to say. Thats what he was refering to, to me.
Just me I guess

Well, hwacker's not allowed then.
But anyways, did you guys see Carolyn Bennett dropped out and supported Rae? That makes two, now.
I havent even been paying attention. It just seems like a foocking mess over there. I cannot see the liberal party gaining any ground on the backs of the possible candidates thus far. There is just to much affiliation with the past. To much mess to clean up, and it would appear that anyone who gets in office wont have the ability to clean house. Which is exactly what they need. A good fresh start.

this is exactly whi i made the political party sub-forums. and why I also made the political user groups, thinking ahead that people would flame even know its not the place to do so.
So if it gets bad, I will restrict posting in the party forums to party-group members only. But not at that point yet.
If you want a topic to go through the ringers of views from all sides and have the good old CKA style rough debating, post your topic in the main politics forum, sime as that.
I don't think that is complicated or disscriminating in anyway. all the main parties have there own sub forum.
Here's an Idea Lets use the political forums for letting like minded people post about their polotics. Oposition is welcome to post civily and to ask questions but not to do out right attacks.
Novel Idea I know but we can at least try it.
Just wait until Sheila Fraser Canada's Auditor General completes her audits on The Federal Department of Indian and North Affairs. The results will make the adscam look like kindergardem.
The Fiberals are going to have to repay the $60+ million dollars they owe to the taxpayers from the Adscam criminal event and when the Audit is in from DIAND the number of dollars owed will be at least a Billion.
Folks the Fiberals are corrupt and crooked. They lie, they cheat, they control the media so the truth doesn't get out and the have ripped us taxpayers off big time.
Once the Federal charges are laid against the majority of those crooks and the amount of money they have to repay there will no longer be a Fiberal, Lieberal or Liberal sect left in this country which is a good thing. The NDP will be long gone as well.
So it seems like the The Tories will be in power for a while to come and that is good and the opposition party will be The Green PArty who will not allow lefty's to join them.
