Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:

Next you'll be bitching about the word "ass" in the www.
Cursing is not against the rules here. Posting links like that is.
Well, when you get a few more years under your belt it wont bother you so much.....
sorry tricks
Should I contact a group discussion thing regarding "bad" links on the net and make you an appointment? Or will you get over it?
Thing is,you just want hwacker banned, just say it....quit dancing around useing the porn link thingy to try and get people on your side.
Newsflash for firecat-Hwacker isnt exactly well liked by lots here.
Not like you need to elicit support but it's fun watching you try.
How's that saying go? I may not like what you say but will defend you to the death to say it? Thats the redneck version, you get the drift Im sure.
The Liberal Version: I do not like what you say and will advocate to the death my right for you not to say it.

He is still guilty.
I don't need support. Regardless of what I believe or you believe, he still broke the rules.

Frankly I find it bizarre your criticism is focussed on the ones who complained here than the one who posted the link.
Frankly I find it bizarre that you and mr Canada had to post so many links to the "link".
And as for the politically smart kid....give me a break,he's prolly seen more porn with his peers then you could imagine, take your head out of the sandbox, you want to get your kid into an adult forum about politics then I would suggest a con or lib site and not one called "Canada kicks ass".
Next you'll be bitching about the word "ass" in the www.
Missing a point here, aren't you? The point is there isn't SUPPOSED to be
porn in the political forums. When I rent a political documentary I have a right to expect it won't be "Debbie Does Dallas" - or in this case "Donny does his Daddy"
Personally I dont think there was any kid in the first place and im guessing I'm not the only one who thinks this way.

I swear, if I am included in any of this, I am going to rip someone a new asshole.
If you click on Mr Canada's profile you will see his posted age. tricks is pretty young too. They have drawn attention to their ages in another thread commenting on how people feel because they are young their opinions don't matter. Oh, the irony.

The rules don't object to words like "ass" or even stronger. Why are you so keen on getting your gay porn from this site? It's not hard to find if that's what you want.
Ever see that warning before porn flicks about it being illegal to make it available to underage persons? No, me neither.

ziggy unless you have a "thing" for posting gay porn I don't see why you should feel this includes you.
For one thing....Tricks may be young but not many would know that if he didnt post it on his profile,he can stand up with some of the better debaters on here and hold his own without whining about a link that someone with a half a brain cell would have looked at before clicking on.

You do check the url before clicking a link dont you????

You better get off the net then buddy, the rules are vague at best.

If you review you will see I have never advocated any censorship at all. I have objected to nothing anyone has said, only this violation of rule 2 about posting porn on a "family friendly" site.
How can a site that allows sexually explicit avatars, maintains a database of adult oriented imagery and permits for profit links to adult theme sites be expected to enforce such a rule with appearing hypocritical? Regardless, the rules are strictly for guidance rather than anything absolute as witnessed by historical suspensions or lack thereof. Additionally, there is no indication that the photographs are illegal.
Further.....asking for someone to be suspended or banned IS advocating censorship. It is disturbing that you cannot see the parallel.
Firecat Firecat:
I cannot presume to know how often the poster has violated this rule or others, so I am unable to suggest which is the appropriate sanction. If he does this often then, yes the rules say he should be banned. Please don't misrepresent me as calling for his ban because he said something I didn't like. the rules and spelled out and the appropriate sanctions. I have merely called attention to them. Which sanction applies is not for me to decide.
First, you admitted to calling for the ban before knowing what the rules in fact stated. Secondly, pushing the issue every forth sentence then shrugging your metaphorical shoulders that its 'really up to the moderators' is nothing more then a subtle form of manipulation targeting moderators and sympathisers alike.
Firecat Firecat:
I have taken great pains to clearly state this about forum posting rules not about viewpoints, so it is only your choice to portray this as attempting to silence a voice.
I calls em like I sees um. If you were not advocating censorship then you would have taken hwacker to task over the content instead of pushing this as a suspension issue. In spite of your pain, I reiterate: Any form of censorship of imagery, words, thought or expression has no business in Canadian cyperspace.
I didn't write the rules. If you have a problem with the rule about allowing porn then take it up with the site.
I vetted the rules csrefully on many sites before I chose to join this one. I chose it as being a set of rules I considered reasonable and I can live with.
If you feel they are not reasonable then why are you here demanding the right of "free speech?" The site is canadaka.net and they set forth a bunch of rules. Why not set up a GFPB site where free speech includes gay porn disguised as political links?
It is the rules that specified ban or "jail" I don't know the history of the dude but I think that posting a "blind" porm link is such a bone-headed and rude thing to do he is quite beneath contempt.
trying to defend this as "freedom of speech" is misapplying the concept. Nothing is being said or advocated here. This is inappropriate depictions of explicit sexuality on a "family friendly" forum. Give me a single quote from the rules that support your position and I will gladly offer my apologies to the hwacker for calling for his sanction. One could hardly defend waving gay porn magazines around in a public place as "freedom of speech" now can one?
Tricks wrote: Fuck you.
Well well how adult of you, I don't mind you or other youths on this forum Tricks in fact you are one cool young man/woman. My point is if a minor is posting here it's not the forums responsibility to Parent you it is the Parents job not the forum owner.
Second, regarding Porn links, the 99 percent naked woman are not at all a pleasure for me to view so I ignore them if I can, I don't usually judge others and their sexual appitites. I didn't view the link so I don't know how offensive it was, or if it was offensive.
Firecat, for a newbie you spend a great deal of time telling everyone what the rules are and your interpretations of them and I find this annoying. I don't need a nanny, or a forum policeman, self appointed, to lecture me. Perhaps you should take your "Issues" to the PM stage and spare the rest of us your lectures on what is morally right or wrong.
