I just watched that for the first time this weekend. Wasn't impressed, really.

You should read the book by Philip K. Dick. It's better and makes more sense. The movie didn't impress me either.

Actually I was going to ask Blue_Nose if I can use his old avatar, the one with the guy playing the piano. This Thunder Cracker Transformer one is getting tiresome.

Don't know how much you remember, but near the very end (on the rooftop, during the final battle), the blond replicant guy is all of a sudden holding a dove... If anything ruined it for me, it was the random stuff like that which didn't make any sense.

I need a new theme. Then I will get a bunch from that theme.

I don't think it's Blade Runner Harrison Ford, I think it's a much older, chubbier Harrison Ford.

For a replicant, being human is all that matters. I suppose when he fought Rick on the rooftop, he felt.....human, he knew what life was all about when holding the dove and he even saved Deckard. As for Deckard being a human or a replicant, that's up for speculation. The main thing about Blade Runner is being human and living life as it is. The wiki article on the movie might shed more light on it.

Zen meister Blue_nose should have been on top of that.

I think it's a good movie that works well. It also set the standard for decaying corrput (Heavy Metal comics) kind of future ever since.

And any movie with Daryl Hannah is also worth a look.
