'Centre' for Necroposter

I for one, appreciate a good Necro, if tastefully done. (Personally, I like trolling the 'Welcome' threads, you can find 10 year old threads there!)
Example from today:
post2037276#p2037276
A person who is frugal with database space and runs a short search to find an appropriate thread to post an addendum, rather than start a new thread every time the word 'picayune' is used in a sentence (for example), should be recognized! ![Drink up [B-o]](./images/smilies/drinkup.gif)

Eh, he can add it to the newsbot, instead of rehashing an ancient thread (and then disappearing from any actual discussion of the news about what he posted, if it gains traction at all). I don't view his necroposting as being beneficial in any way.
But, he's doing it nonetheless. Third.

When Donnawho nominated me for 'Contributor', it was noted that there were many more users out there who could be recognized for their contributions to CKA.
I forgot all about the medals because they got used so infrequently, so I said to myself, 'self, make Wednesday's "Medal Mednesday" and nominate someone who is going unrecognized'. And I'll try to do that until it catches on, or I run out of people to nominate. I read the list of medals, and thought of various people who they reflect.
I didn't want to do them all at once, so I'm taking it slow.

So you all prefer a new thread on the same topic when something pertinent to a previous thread comes up?
