Trust me when I say most of us are used to getting slagged by the ROC.
That comes with the wealth the province has and maybe it's conservative redneck slant that we seem to have.(Ralph telling the eastern bums to go home didnt help either)
I still remember when the oil crisis in the states was on and we would take a weekend trip to Kalispell Montana,most times we would go with our friends from BC and would take their vehicle because Alberta plates meant you would get your car windows smashed out,there's a reason we switched to white plates(BC'ers take note,no more yellowbelly jokes eh?)

It used to bug me but now I just laugh,some of us laugh and some start a seperatist party,that's how much it bugs some people.

At times it's like were being excluded from Canada and I know it's a dead horse but the NEP did that to us,taught us not to trust the ROC.
When folks were pulling the pin after losing everything in Calgary no one noticed,as long as energy dollars were flowing in to Ottawa all was good.

And we changed,we learned to do things on our own now. We are an "energy" province and that includes Canada's first commercial wind farm.
People tend to forget that we are a leader in renewable resource energy in the world,instead they bleat on about our oil which is second in production to our gas which is still #1 in the Alberta energy industry.

I gotta commend Ruez though,he's not even an Albertican.

More like a Canadian,if medals are to be handed out he deserves an "uberCanuck" for stepping up to the plate for the west.

As for FB's rant.......heh heh,he go's off on a tangent once in a while.

I was laughing big time. I know how when some say easterners are all EI bums it piss's him off because he's never been on the dole. So every now and then he loses it. Cant blame him,some of my fellow "Bertans" emberass me.

FB is not a flamer, as the medal warrents. RUEZ is more of a flamer than FB.

And FB is definatly not an "anti-canuck".

I'm sorry but I disagree he has started a number of threads that have started or turned into flame wars by the end. Hey, hes a great guy and an excellent debator but he also hurls personals insults which goads people into fights sure the results are funny but still.

Also, I do agree that he definatly isn't Anti-canuck (maybe mislead on some points but not anti-canuck).
