One of the most enjoyable features of this website is the medal system for forum members. Given the distinction of those awarded to Canadian patriots and the recognition placed upon the `Cool Yankies' and `Cool Europeans,' perhaps the next step in this process may be to establish an `Honourary Canadian' medal for non-Canadian world citizens who share a passion for the soverign nation and act in accordance with Her values and ideals. This would serve as `elevated status' past the `Cool' awards for respective foreign nationals and may only be awarded with the nomination of a Canadian forum member. How does it sound?

   

I know of many foreign nationals who have done Canada proud during my Military service days. The "Honourary Canadian" medal for non-Canadian citizens who share a passion for this soverign nation would serve as `elevated status' and would be a definite asset to this site!
