I have a few hundred posts and many of my posts contain right wing leaning content.I have not recieved any medals yet.I would like to be nominated for the right wing medal due to my views on various issues.

I’ll nominate her – there seems to be an unwritten rule that automatically awards the first parrot to barf up “separatist” drivel a “Separatist” medal, so why not apply that guideline to Tory? I assume she has more “rightist” tainted posts than her “separatist” counterparts, so grant the girl her medal!

   

That's not what I was making reference too. I was trying to see if a self-nomination counted as the first motion or not. Seeing as how she has 4 in this post, I suppose it doesn't matter anymore.

That's a good school of thought - I like it.

   

It seems only reasonable to me that although a member is allowed to nominate him/herself for a medal their self-nomination should not count as an endorsement for the medal. That is a question that should be left solely to the discretion of other members and the mods. This is just my own personal opinion on the matter - admittedly, the Forum Medal Guidelines are not specific regarding this.

With all that said, I've certainly read enough of TC's posts to be confident that the "Right Wing" medal suits her.

I do recall that self-nomination is allowed, but I always think it's a little unpolite. But I'll give her my support anyway. The choice to give is entirely up to the moderators.
