Here are some tunes for us NDP pinkos. The right-wingers can have their Christian Rock or whatever crap it is they listen to.

Oh sweet. THank you, thank you, thank you.
Totally kick ass...
Those right-wingers listen to Christian rap? Just when I thought they couldn’t get any weirder.
Haha, thank for the link buddy!
Regards,
Stellar.
Gentlemen, it's a pleasure to post this stuff for your enjoyment.
In fairness, I'll guess that right-wingers don't all listen to Christian Rock or Rap or whatever.... I suppose Ted Nugent is pretty big for them....
Whatever it is, it isn't as good as this stuff.
Good list. We've got far better music than the right. We should add a few more though. I'll just go by artist. Some will be repeats, but what the hell?
Steve Earle
Fred Eaglesmith
Weakerthans
Propaghandi
Blackie and the Rodeo Kings
Luther Wright and the Wrongs
Woodie Guthrie
Green Day
David Wilcox
The Cigarettes
Violent Femmes
Jimmy Buffet
John Prine
The Incombustible Men (ukelele blues music...very subversive)
Arlo Guthrie
Lyle Lovett
Don't forget Bono and Leonard Cohen.
Long time no see Rev! How are you buddy? Is it just me or have you been gone for well over a year? The last time I remember talking to you was when Christ was in diapers.
Regards,
Stellar.
I'm just dandy, Stellar. I've been about, just not here-abouts.
Right now listening to Hardcore '81 by D.O.A. Good stuff and definitely fits in with the theme of the thread.

Johnny Cash was a leftie, wasn't he?
You're all forgetting one of Canada's best home-grown:
Bruce Cockburn

I saw him live at "The Nat. Capital Tulip Festival" a couple of years back. He was sooooooo depressing I almost opened a vein. I always thought he was one of yours (NDP)

Yeouch! That's harsh!
Some of his stuff is pretty serious - not exactly typical party music, but I've heard some tunes of his that were pretty upbeat, actually.
Anyhow, a great talent and he fits in perfectly with our list.
