What's 'vindictive' about it? The guy admitted to taking PEDs which is clearly not acceptable in any sport. Not only that, the LYING SACK OF SHIT held himself up to the whole world as some kind of hero!
Chatter has it he 'admitted' doping as part of a deal to prevent a criminal prosecution. That's the same deal his team mates were given to avoid the threat of Federal prison time.
I dare say you'd 'admit' to doping given such a choice.

You may have a point but, then again, if there was just one cyclist not on PED's it means Armstrong was cheating.
