Hey,

I want to move back to Canada but I have some problems: money. I live in Poland where every job is paid something like 3 times less then in Canada or Western Europe. That is why I'm looking for some other, more tricky, way of getting to Canada.

Can any one help by telling me how? (Je parle francais)

Of course I've been searching the internet for some studies scholarships or at some summer jobs. I would love to live in my birth place Ottawa, or in Montreal. But as I said, I think I cant afford tuition fees at the Universities. I looked through and registered on some sites that have summer job offers, but I have nothing yet. I must be in Canada for this years Canada Day!

Can you help? Please :D

Well, since you have a Canadian passport, you could hop on a plane, and find yourself a job... Timmies or McD are always hiring, I hear... Work your way through school...

It is hard to apply for jobs when you are not there in person...

If you are born in Canada, you would obviously have no issues coming back into the Country. Go to Alberta, you will get a job in a heartbeat.

I hear Service Canada has scholarships or something job related. I forget which it was, maybe even both? I would check them out.

Haha funny.

This is a quite serious issue for me :)

Well I've been checking service Canada, workopolis.com, Ottawa's official site and other, but the problem is that mostly they have job offers for >now-today< not for >summer-future<. I would love to have a booked job/working place so that I could start looking for a place to live.

I probably will try to do it this way:I'll send my CV to different places and ask if they would want me for summer. Hope it works.

I think that finding a job is not going to be hard at all. You would be wise to find a place to live first, and THEN get the job. Housing is more scarce than jobs are.

Correction: AFFORDABLE housing.

Yeah, this is not stupid at all.

Any idea where to look for some? I never did this before.

If you plan on going to Ontario, I can't help you there though I'm sure a lot of people on here from Ontario could. I'm a born n raised Albertan. lol :)
