Media Bias against Rob Ford?...of course not.

OnTheIce OnTheIce:
It was third on CTV at 6pm. Baseball drug scandal and Ford went before it.
And you think that makes it a media bias? That's a bit of stretch. Whether you like it or not, Rob Ford is a big story right now, not just locally. I don't think you can call it a bias against him to be leading with his story right now.
I'll agree with you that the Star has been pretty aggressive, but that's water under the bridge. For better or worse, Ford is the bigger story right now. Sorry, if you thought that was another fat joke.

Where's Hyack and his wagging finger?
Right here ray, and just for you.....

Do you get an alert when your name is mentioned in a thread?

Just another one of my little secrets ray, one I will never divulge.

The Provincial government using 500 million of our tax dollars and knowingly breaking the law to cover up is a far bigger story than accusations that are weeks old and have already been covered to death. Is it not?

To some people, sure. But there's international attention on the Ford story, for good or bad. Your story is an important one, but much more of a local interest than Rob Ford's circus. People enjoy circuses. They're more entertaining than some boring political scandal.

OTI should put CTV on his ignore list.

Do you not feel it's a more important story?
If the Liberal story is indeed a local one, it should be top story on the local Toronto CTV website and news. It wasn't.
Here's the Star from this morning....can you find the article about the Liberal story? Where's Waldo?
CBC Cover this morning...
CTV this morning...story buried at the bottom of their page.
Oh wow, they identified the house where that Rob Ford photo was taken. That is certainly worthy of our attention.
Of course there is media bias. Take a peek at Sun News this morning.

Yes, I think it's a more important story, but most people don't give a toss about political stories. They do care about crack-head mayors...for good or bad, people like a sensational scandal.

Then I suggest you trade in your polyester for some tweed. Become a newspaper man. Then you can make the call about which story to lead with. They're businessmen. They know which stories will sell papers.

What are you blind? The Liberal scandal story is right on the front page of the Toronto Star today. Right beside the Rob Ford story. Side by side. There's also an editorial piece in the front section on your story.

The image captures above are the respective websites, not covers of newspapers. Main stories on websites don't drive more traffic.

I don't read that ass-rag. I'm not talking about the newspaper, I'm talking about the websites....hence the multiple screen shots above. I'm not talking about covers of newspapers.

Oh, so you're shitting on a newspaper that you don't read. I see, I see. Maybe you should read the actual paper, since they're running the story you want on the front page.
