Walleye season just opens tomorrow here in Pa. I'll be at a State Park camping and fishing. I'm looking forward to the change. I've been fishing trout for the last month. I tried to keep a sauger yesterday but I got yelled at by a local guy.

i like to fish when we go to the cottage but i don't make any special trips for it or have any special equipment. But as they say "it's not the size of the rod- its how deep you fish"

When we travel to ON to visit family, we usually go pike and trout fishing at the trailer in Owen Sound!
This weekend I will be playing with my girlfriends' band as part of our municpalitiy's Canada Day celebrations. It will be our first gig since we have gotten this group together. Happy Canada Day, everyone!
p.s. I live in Iroquois Falls, the party is in Anson Park (or the jus jordan arena if it rains) and would love to see you there.

The equipment on your Avatar would catch me.

This weekend I plan to take my wife to the Toronto Blue Jays game.
After the game, they close the roof at the Rogers Centre, and have an awsome indoor fireworks display, along with show on the jumbotron showing all the great things about our country.
I have gone three times, especially when the montreal Expos were in town.
Lets celebrate the birthday of one of the greatest countries in the world.
Kiss the ground and be thankful we live here, and make a good life for ourselves here.

You don't know pickerel until you've fished up north. The last summer I was home we were up in Gods Lake (beautiful lake but the residents are fucking animals) and within 1 hour 5 of us had close to 100 (when your buddies have a treaty card there is no limit). The real story was the Jacks(Northern Pikes), that were real monsters. You'd have a walleye on your line and you could see these monsters coming up from the depths and almost swallow them whole. It's not tuncommon to have pikes weighing over 35 lbs. They pulled a 65 lbs lake Trout out ogf the lake a few years back too. Sons of bitches are finnicky about the lures you used , one day pink the next yellow.

That would be wicked. Before I die, I want to do a fly in trip somewhere up north. (with Kitty)
Well nightcrawlers don't work with the fish, so I guess kitty would be stuck with the worm
Wouldn't they notice that a piece of your luggage was struggling and making sounds of desperation?
