Well, it's been a lousy year for sales so far, but I finally managed a sale. I sold (as a reprint) my ghost story "Photo Finish" to Pseudopod (http://pseudopod.org/). It's my first sale to a "podcast" magazine, which is kind of exciting. Pays pretty good too. I'll post again when the story is coming up.

It's a ghost story called "Photo Finish" (actually a reprint of a previously published story from 2005). It's a podcast--kind of weird hearing someone else read your stuff.

I just sold a story to Black Ink Press. It was a nasty little horror piece--very hardcore. Not the greatest payday but it looks like a decent magazine. That marks my tenth publication!

Congrats man! I'm trying to get restarted on the novel I've been working on. Done a lot of research lately on some authors in the genre that I'm working in. Got tons of good tips from Terry Brooks' site. Hopefully I can get some good writing time in before my twins are born

Twins? You poor bugger. Oh well, a lot of part-time writers say that, surprisingly, the busier they are outside of writing, the more writing they do.
Apart from selling some stories, I've been on hiatus all summer. It's going to be hard to kick start myself in the fall!

My latest sale (which is actually the first story I wrote as an adult; only took me twenty years to seell the damn thing) is up on The Harrow right now. It's a fairly long short story, or perhaps a fairly short long story, depending on how you want to look at it.
It's called Roll the Bones. It's about a loan shark what gets paid back--Big Time.
I've got another one coming up on in Black Ink Horror--a black amd white digest magazine. I'm excited about that one--it's probably the most hard-core horror mag out there, and a tough nut to crack.
Other that that, I better get writing again. Been slacking off too much.
