Here everyone was worried about swine flu, and something else has closed schools and sickened hundreds in Manitoba.....and it's not the weather.

It is getting weird all of these strange sicknesses going around , they say we are one the verge of a pandemic of very large scale . We have used to many antibiotics for the good of the world , as more of them are failing us

I'm just getting over what appears to be the same thing. Today was my first day up and around in a week. Back to work. Somewhat drained pysically. Just a severe 'flu'. Not pleasant but nothing to be overly concerned about. 'Soup-sleep-sleep-soup etc and lots of water/fluids, and tylenol for the constant headaches.

Antibiotics have never worked on any strain of the flu. The flu is a virus, while antibiotics work well against bacteria.

I have a hyper charged immune system....not always a good thing, as I've found out recently.....and have always avoided serious colds or influenza. If everyone gets a cold/flu for a week or so, mine lasts for a day, or two at the most, if I get it at all.

...and hyper sensitivity to allergines, especially natural ones (hayfever, dandins, etc), huh, Shep? Do you go through as much Claritin as I? The good news is we're almost certain to develop arthritis in our 50s.

don't have that trouble, but I've had to start seeing a rheumatologist.
